A son finds an escape from his turbulent marriage with his slightly dysfunctional and quirky parents who are hiding a young boy from the authorities.

Maxime is a middle-aged businessman who faces ongoing problems in both his professional and marital life. Learning that his mother was arrested for involvement in a brawl, Maxime travels to Bordeaux to bail her out. He decides to spend a few days with his parents and away from his problems. He notices the affectionate relationship of his parents despite their differences in opinion and his father's poor health.
