Following a life threatening Meningococcal Septicemia infection that costs her both her legs, Lisa eventually realises her dream of becoming a nurse again.

Lisa's was a young healthy nurse, but within 18 hours of her first symptom she was fighting for her life after contracting Meningococcal Septicemia infection and given just 5% chance of survival. Following the amputation of both her legs and severe scaring from the bacterial infection, Lisa recounts her difficult journey to be able walk again with prosthetic legs, and eventually realising her dream to work again as a nurse.—Anonymous
