Summaries

Henry Foley gave up fishing when his two sons were lost at sea. But when war breaks out, he joins a lifeboat crew, to his wife's dismay.

A short feature with a wartime propaganda purpose, this film tells of the Foleys, a family of fishermen whose matriarch has lost two sons at sea. She vows to keep her last son and husband safe, but the demands of the war effort persuade her to let them do their bit.
