This video follows the conversations between three characters longing for home: a Pakistani, an American, and an artist caught somewhere in between. The video oscillates between two worlds, one belonging to a homesick Pakistani immigrant living in Albany, NY, and the other to a patriotic American soldier based in Boston MA. The third character (the artist) swings between these two worlds allowing the viewer to step into the piece and to experience the longing for different 'homes'. Issues of authenticity and belonging are raised as the piece reveals the artist's own subjectivity about not belonging in either Pakistan or the United States.—Anonymous
