Based on a novel by Tatiana Polyakova (title "Mavr sdelal svoe delo").
The main character of the story is a nice girl called Olga Larina (Yevgeniya Serebrennikova). Her slow paced life is suddenly interrupted by the news that her biological father (Valentin Smirnitskiy) is dead, who she didnt even know existed until that moment.
The strange death of this man, the bequest left after him, and the attempt to understand the past, lead Olga into a series of mysterious events which she is forced to get involved.
