After an old man is attacked by a bear in the snowy mountains of northern Japan, he vows to hunt down the marauder.
Story of an old bear hunter, who was once attacked by a huge mountain bear. The bear is dangerous to the community as it does not hibernate in winter and attacks the village for food. The old man teaches his grandson the art of bearhunting before going on a big hunt to kill the bear.
