Matabb (Speed Bump) tells the story of several friends working in or around the various non-governmental organizations (NGO) in Ramallah which are mainly funded from abroad. The friends are trying to get Souhaila's son Mustafa out of jail, help Samira cope with her unrequited love and its tragic and even life-threatening consequences, take different sides with regard to Majed's and Wafa's crisis-stricken marriage and try to solve the mystery of the source of the organization's funds.—Fareed C.
