A short portrait of a Colombian "todero" - a person competent in several different fields - narrating his experience as an immigrant in New York City's Lower East Side.

A short portrait of Mario Bustamante, a Colombian 'Todero', narrating his experience as an immigrant in New York City's Lower East Side; questioning his reasons for migrating into the United States, the consequences of being away from his home country, his dreams and nightmares, his work, his art. However, Bustamante is not your typical immigrant. Bustamante is a rebel, a fighter that shows an alternative lifestyle which unveils an underground defiant social movement that has battled for over 10 years in favor of legalization and regularization of the squatter community, the recognition of the right for affordable housing and the acknowledgment of the U.S. governments position on evictions as violations of fundamental human rights.—Anonymous
