Can a professor of Islamic Studies prove that the Quran forbids violence to a madman with a bomb named Martin?
Martin is a 35-year-old family man, who has been studying Islam for the past year. He visits a professor of Islamic Studies to tell Professor Neuweiser about his exciting terrorist attack he initiated this morning. Martin is confused when people criticize terrorists - he thinks they're just following what's in the Quran. Or can Professor Neuweiser show Martin a passage that says it's wrong to kill people with bombs? The professor has no weapons other than the Quran, the word of God, to prove that violence is forbidden. But has Martin really sought out the professor to get advice from a "wise man," or is there something else behind his sudden appearance? Throughout the movie, Martin is the great mystery, which only opens up in all its emotional depth at the end - to explode in the hearts of the audience.
