After their mother passes away, twins, Prasad and Anu, are separated and their father, Ramji Desai, is rendered homeless. Prasad is brought up by a couple whose daughter was abducted and killed, and he swears to become a police inspector and bring wrong-doers to justice. While Anu grows up with her maternal uncle and aunt, and becomes an expert in self-defense so much so that she even wrestles a ferocious tiger.
