Marceline is a documentary about the town of Marceline, Missouri. Marceline is the hometown of Walt Disney and this film showcases the town's history and its ties to Walt and its history of magic.
In the spring of 2007, a film school student and avid Disney fan, came to Marceline. His intentions: make a three part documentary about Walt Disney's life before Mickey Mouse. After spending only a day in town he knew this would be a wonderful story to tell. Andy Neitzert spent almost two months interviewing several members of the community as well as Going through Marceline archives. What he has created is a documentary telling the story of Marceline and its ties to Walt Disney.
