Story of a young man who returns to his village home after twenty years to avenge the murder of his father. He is helped by a gypsy girl with whom he falls in love.

During Christmas Eve 1860, in a small Andalusian village, a married couple is murdered. The neighbors think they know who the author of the crime is and they kill him. But it turns out the suspect was innocent. Twenty years later, the son of that man arrives in town with the purpose of discovering the real culprit.
