An enthusiastic male villager becomes his village's new "sorority director" after bragging about his zealous reforms for women at a women's federation meeting.

Set in autumn of 1990s in a village in northeast China. A problem occurs in position shift change of sorority director, and the village head sends Mr. Liu to attend the women's federation meeting. Liu makes a boast of the work of village's sorority and the official praises the village as an archetype. When Liu returns, he has to pretend to act as a sorority director and tries to make every bragging to become true.
