Malamaya is a coming-of-old age story of Nora Simeon, a middle-aged single visual artist who is beginning to feel passé. As she recaptures her prime, she finds spark with Migs, an aspiring photographer who reignites forgotten passions and elicits bursts of inspiration. As she embarks on a May-December love affair, Nora fails to notice how he invades her art and senses; and eventually, her art and body.
