When childless Anjani prayed to Shiva to give her a son, he must have been listening because nine months and a visit from Marut, the God of Wind later, she delivers one -- the young deity Hanuman. As a child Hanuman mischievously tried to swallow the sun, thinking it was a fruit. When he is smote for his unwitting trespass by Indra, king of the Gods, he lays lifeless, only to be resurrected and granted gifts by an assemblage of gods. These gifts along with his own virtues earn him the title of Mahabali, or The Mighty One. His life is the subject of this film, which focuses on both his childhood exploits and adult adventures.—Ray Ban {[email protected]}
Bhagwan Shri Shivji appears before Vanar Kanya Anjani and grants her a son through Pavandev, and as a result she gives birth to Pavanputra Hanuman, who has magical powers, including the ability to fly, change shapes, and become minute and gigantic instantly. As a child he attains knowledge through Suryadev, and one day playfully swallows the sun, bringing the entire universe into darkness. This angers Devraj Indra, who kills Him. An angered Pavandev brings the universe to a standstill compelling Brahmaji to bring Hanumanji back to life. Devis and Devas like Agnidev, Vishnuji, Shivji, Yamraj, Varundev, Lakshmiji, Parvatiji, appear and shower blessings on the child which make him invincible and immortal. He is also told that he will be devoted to Bhagwan Shri Ram, and spends his entire childhood looking for Him, and does find Him through His brother, Lakshmanji, who was injured by a one-eyed demon. Ramji's wife, Devi Maa Sita, has been abducted by Shivbhakt Ravan, and Hanuman, Vanarraj Sugreev, and others assist Ramji in not only locating and rescuing Sitaji, but also ending Ravanji's tyrannical rule. Sitaji undergoes a Agniparikhsa, and the trio, along with Hanumanji, return to Ayodhya - where Ramji is crowned King. It is here that we will learn why Sindoor and Oil is associated with Hanumanji, why Ramji will be forced to take up arms against Hanumanji as well as view Him in his true celestial form.—rAjOo ([email protected])
