Madhubaanakadai (Liquor Shop) is a socio-economic and political satire movie. The movie revolves around a liquor shop on the day before Gandhi Jayanthi i.e., October 1st. The movie travels on numerous characters from school boys to old men, artists to money lenders, eunuchs, scavengers to rich persons. The movie also brings out social issues that are intertwined around the business of marketing and selling of Indian Manufactured Foreign Liquors that is governed by State Government.—Savitha
