The Brown family has a funeral, a wedding and a family reunion all in the same day, and it is up to Medea, the no-nonsense matriarch, to keep order. Also, Madea's Family Reunion is a comedy-drama film adaptation of the stage production of the same name written by Tyler Perry and sequel to Diary of a Mad Black Woman. After the Funeral, and while planning her family reunion, the pistol-packing grandma, Madea, must contend with the other dramas on her plate, including the runaway foster daughter who has been placed under her care, and her troubled nieces, half-sisters Lisa and Vanessa. One of them gets beat by her fiance´ and Madea is on to fix it as soon as she can and as fast as she can!
