An innocent man is convicted of a murder due to a corrupt Detective and overzealous District Attorney.

New York in the 1980's was in the midst of a huge crack epidemic that tested the criminal justice system, straining the system's ability to fairly execute justice to all criminal defendants. Raymond Travis a/k/a Casanova is a hugely successful drug dealer known to many in Brooklyn, New York as the Robin Hood of drug dealers. Detective Carracci, Raymond's nemesis, has been persistent in trying to bring Raymond's drug empire down and land Raymond behind bars. Raymond goes on a family vacation to Disney World with his son, mother, and Sasha, his girlfriend and partner in his drug empire. While in Orlando, Raymond's best friend Troy is murdered in Brooklyn. Raymond is later framed for Troy's murder due to the efforts of Detective Carracci and District Attorney Speckman. At trial the judge excludes exculpatory evidence of Raymond's innocence, resulting in his conviction for first-degree murder. As a result Raymond is sentenced to twenty-five-years-to-life imprisonment. Raymond spends twenty-four years behind bars fighting for his eventual exoneration. This story shows one man's battle for his innocence against a corrupt justice system which nearly destroys him and his family. Based on a true story.
