In the late 1990s, Xiang Yuan and Ye Qian Ze, who were childhood sweethearts, had to part ways for a while. During the Uni years, Xiang Yuang receives financial aid from the Ye Family in order to attend university in Shanghai while Ye Qian Ze goes through the motions of life. After a misunderstanding, the two lovers must part ways, one in Shanghai and the other in London.
