'Love Suicides' is a silent film in three acts recounting the tale of Kume and Osan, illicit lovers who are condemned by traditional society. Journeying from Kume's mountaintop monastery to a sacred temple ruins, the lovers encounter demon attacks, jealous suitors, murderous soldiers, and singing dreams as they are propelled towards their ultimate fate.
