A singer saves a defiant rich girl in a ship wreckage and then falls in love with her.

During a sailing trip in the sunny Mediterranean Sea, the talented but impecunious and unknown singer, Yorgos Apergis, saves from certain death Martha Vasiadi, the wealthy owner of the yacht and daughter of a powerful industrialist. To express her gratitude, Martha visits Yorgos in the tavern where he sings for a living, and before long, a passionate love affair blooms. Of course, Martha's father opposes this union, and as a result, the young lovers decide to take matters into their own hands and live free. However, fate has other plans in store for Martha and Yorgos. Will they manage to make their dreams come true, or is all hope lost?—Nick Riganas
