A lovely study of a melancholy young man and the journey to find a purpose, and meaning, in the world around him.
In a world of disposable goods and persons, a sad and seemingly lost young man, Haruto, begins working in the lost and found department of Hoshigaoka Station. Haruto is a loner. While he does his job adequately, he also daydreams about the items he is overseeing, their history and background, how the item was lost and how it ended up with him. As he seeks to find connection and meaning in the lost objects, he finds connection and learns things about himself.—aghaemi, pkd
