Spain, February 2003. A theatrical troupe travels across the country with their last play. The main actor dies in an accident. The young actor who comes to replace him comes from television.
The first actor of a theater company on tour in Spain dies in a car accident. Jorge Ruiz, chosen to replace him, is handsome, young and revolutionary. His arrival creates tension, jealousy and mistrust in the rest of the cast, especially Mario Soto, the director. Already in the first rehearsal of Federico García Lorca's "Untitled Comedy", the first clash between them occurs. Furthermore, Jorge, at the end of the performance, reads a manifesto in favor of peace, which Mario dislikes. After the first performance of the play in a town, the company meets in the room of Carmen, the leading actress, to watch the Goya awards ceremony together.
