A young woman tries to find her own way in life despite strong experiences during the WW2, where the whole of Northern Norway is burnt to ruins and everyone is fleeing, seeking to find peace and freedom in a longing for a better present.

The movie is a WW2-story about the last period where all homes and infrastructure in the northernmost parts of Norway was destroyed. It is on an artistic level high above the normal viewer. The movie is a waste of time viewing. It is slow, noisy and totally uninteresting and does not reflect the the real story.
