Documentary tracing the development and production of the mini-series '"Lonesome Dove" (1989) (mini)', from Larry McMurtry's novel of the same name. Stars Robert Duvall and Tommy Lee Jones, among others, described the circumstances of filming, and director Simon Wincer comments on the adaptation of the novel.
