In a futuristic society where reaching the age of 30 is a death sentence, a rebellious law enforcement agent goes on the run in search of Sanctuary.

This television series portrays a futuristic society where citizens are only allowed to live until age 30. Logan 5 is a Sandman (police assassin) who is 26 years old; he decides to escape to freedom with a runner named Jessica 6 and search for a mythical place called 'Sanctuary.' It is the 23rd century, the entire planet has been ravaged by a nuclear war leaving the world as a nuclear holocaust. The survivors live within a domed city sealed off from the outside world, where the citizens live in a society where everyday is nothing but pleasure. But there is one catch, due to population control and limited resources, all citizens can live until they 30 years old. They have a choice, they can either take part in a extermination ceremony called "Carousel" where they are promised of being reborn or they can go-on-the run and escape outside the city, where they believe a mysterious place called "Sanctuary" exists, and risk being hunted by a elite police force "Sandmen" whose job is to terminate all runners seeking Sanctuary and refuse to die at 30. Logan, a sandman begins to question the system, and meets a woman named Jessica, who believes Logan's doubts about society and Carousel and knows about Sanctuary. Logan and Jessica escape from the city, where they are joined by a android named Rem, who teaches them about the world they've entered, as Logan and Jessica travels through the apocalyptic United States in search of Sanctuary, as they are pursued by Logan's former partner, Francis, who has been assigned by the council (A group of old men who runs the city) not only to apprehend Logan, but to destroy Sanctuary, and the council will make him a member, if he succeeds.—Daniel Williamson

Now there are dissidents who don't believe the tales of the outside still uninhabitable because of the nuclear radiation. And they also believe of a place called Sanctuary where they can live in peace. These individuals are called Runners and they are hunted by men called Sandmen. One of these men is Logan, who questions whether being renewed actually happens and if the outside is uninhabitable. When he is sent to track down some runners, one of them Jessica who knows about Logan's doubts fuels them with what she knows and Logan decides to join her and they leave the city and search for Sanctuary. Francis, Logan's partner is tasked with trying to find him. Along the way they meet Rem an android, who helps them find their way and teach about the world they have entered.—[email protected]

In 2274, after a holocaust which has wiped out most of the life on Earth, man is scattered into different pockets of humanity. One such pocket is located in the City of Domes, where no one is allowed to live past the age of 30. It is at that point where people are given a choice of being "renewed" in a ritual called Carousel or run the risk of becoming a fugitive known as a Runner and being hunted down by an elite police force known as Sandmen. One such Sandman is Logan 5 who while chasing a runner meets up with a young woman named Jessica 6. Jessica, who knows Logan's doubts about the truth of Carousel, encourages Logan to become a runner. Logan is then pursued by his former friend Francis 7, who is assigned by the city's governing council, which happens to be run by a group of elderly men, to not only capture Logan, but to destroy Sancturary, the destination of the Runners. If he does that he will gain a spot on the council. In he meantime, Logan, Jessica and an android named Rem, who they meet along the way, travel throughout the devastated remnants of America and along the way discover that there are other societies trying to rebuild what is left of the world.—Brian Washington <[email protected]>
