Summaries

An Italian documentary film, interviews Gino Birindelli and explores the history of the Adverters of the Queen of the Queen of the Navy during the Second World War.

The documentary was made with the aim of gathering first-hand testimony on the life of the Regia Marina operators for the making of a film with actors, centered on the figure of Teseo Tesei. However, the film was not made due to lack of funds. The director subsequently decided to edit the interview with Birindelli and distribute it on DVD. From that moment the documentary with Gino Birindelli reached an audience of military history enthusiasts, who welcomed it with great interest. The success of the production started a series of monographic films about veterans of the armed forces of the Second World War, directed by Claudio Costa for the independent production Ronin Film Production.
