In the year 1532, seventy thousand sacks of gold are transported from the Kingdom of Quito to the town of Cajamarca, Peru, where Spanish conquistadors are holding as their prisoner, the Inca Emperor, Atahualpa. However, the gold never arrives,the Incas hide it in a lagoon, in a remote mountain range in Ecuador. Explorers from all over the world have searched for it.
