In this spin-off of "Who's the Boss?" Charlie Briscoe is a friend of Samantha Micelli's who needs a new home. Trish Carlin is a friend of Angela's who runs a modeling agency for teens in New York City. Charlie becomes Trisha's new project--and headache.—Kris Phillips
This series began on an episode of "Who's The Boss?" in which Samantha (Alyssa Milano) had a visit from her old friend Charlie Briscoe who revealed that her mother had disowned her. Another "Boss" regular, Angela, was being visited by her old friend Trish Carlin, a modeling agent who specialized in teenagers. Unlike other agents who work their models and care nothing about them beyond that, Trish makes sure that they continue their education, so she offers Charlie a job and lets her stay at her house along with four other girls. Also living there is her son. Charlie feels a bit hostile towards the discipline that Trish enforces on her and acts up every now and then, but in the end she realizes that Trish only wants what's best for her. Eventually, Michael Learned who plays Trish was replaced. At the end of the story, Trish was off on a business trip, so her sister, played by Marion Ross, was looking after her house, her son, and the girls.—<[email protected]>
