On a morning run a retired FBI agent stumbles upon an injured man. When he finds the man has been shot and those responsible are closing in on the house, he becomes trapped in an all too familiar world that could spell his own demise. Unarmed and unprepared, he hides in the cellar. As he listens from the confines of the darkness he learns he is not the only one trapped in the house.
