The film is about the life of a youth pastor named Brandon McDade who grew up in a broken home and struggled to make it out without becoming like his mother who has a drug abuse problem. At one point he does fall into the same path but is able to make it out and turn out better then most people with broken home back grounds could have imagined.—Anonymous
