A heart patient navigates end stage heart failure with a new lease on life thanks to his medical team, friends and family, fellow patients, and an LVAD (battery powered heart pump).

After a heart attack, a man awakes from a coma on mechanical circulatory support, where an implanted, battery powered pump now circulates the blood throughout his body. It's life without a pulse, but with a power cord, and a whole new definition of normal that he must discover as he rebuilds the life he previously enjoyed.
