"License and Registration, " tells the story of Claire Mills, a black queer, day-dreamer, who spends her days writing in her notebook. Today is Claire's drivers test. She thinks she has everything figured out, until she meets the new kid in school, Val, who helps Claire navigate what's important in life, which is love, family and friendship.
