A young supermarket worker discovers that his older brother is a vampire and must choose whether to help him or slay him.
In Transylvania, while celebrating her bachelor party with friends, the Irish bride Sheila is bitten by a vampire. When she returns to Dublin, she bites the junkie Deco into the toilet of a night-club and turns him into a vampire. On the next morning, Deco is affected by the sunlight and looks for his brother Matthew "Matt", who lives with their mother that has expelled Deco home since he was robbing the house to buy drugs. Matt invites his brother in, hides him from Ma and soon he realizes that his older brother is a vampire now. He calls a physician to help Deco, but the vampire hunter Henry is hunting Deco down and poses as a doctor.
