Befuddled and enraged, an array of combat warriors don't mince words while providing their opinions on 'COIN' and Operation Enduring Freedom - a 20 year war gone in vain.

Hosted by Nick Betts, Army Sniper 2005-2013, VET Tv sets off off on a journey to document the unadulterated opinions of the veterans who fought during Operation Enduring Freedom from 2008 to 2013. We want to hear why they signed the dotted line, what they felt overseas, what they felt when they returned and what they feel now that the Taliban has taken control. This isn't an anti-government piece, it's a call out to leadership to make better decisions and understand the consequences of their decisions. Hear the warriors. Understand their pain. The documentary will complement our fictional recreation of combat warriors that fought during OEF - A Grunt's Life, a series about a Marine platoon in 2008 fighting alongside the Afghan National Police in search of a key Taliban leader. Both this documentary and the series will address the following: Counterinsurgency, working with Afghan Nationals, psychology of killing, racism and misogyny in foreign cultures, and the withdrawal of US troops from Afghanistan. Unadulterated passion-filled veterans, share their stories. This documentary will feature interviews form 6 combat veterans, POV combat footage, and complementary footage from A Grunt's Life Season 2.—Justice F. W. Pelton
