Same old problem - New approach. An innovative method to encourage at-risk students from dropping out.

A group of 9 teens brought together for 13 weeks to complete a life challenge. With the guidance of a team of professional health and wellness experts, nine teens aged 13 to 15 in danger of academic failure will unite. Together, they will learn small positive steps towards uniting mind, body and soul in an effort to help change their futures. Each week, a psychologist, fitness trainer, medical doctor, nutritionist and remedial educator will encourage the teens to face the challenges of their health and wellness program hands-on. By helping them discover their strengths, giving them the tools necessary to achieve scholastic success and by teaching them the importance of how physical and mental health are intertwined for the rest of our lives. The overall goal of the series is to give the teens a taste of achievement, thus wanting to better themselves for the rest of their lives.—Anonymous
