A gang of adults traffic illegally. A gang of children play at being traffickers, imitating the seriousness of the adult criminals. Both groups engage in pretense through their activities.

There is the gang of adults who engage in clandestine trafficking; and the gang of children who play the traffickers. But are not the first children as children as the latter, do not they also play under the pretended gravity of their activities?
