The film is a response to a seeing a drawing of lemons and tacks in a kitchen in Cambridge. I was inspired to make a short narrative about their lives intertwined with mine. It is a visual stream of consciousness that moves from childhood through the differing phases of life, the peaceful phases, the hectic phases to the dance with the lemons and tacks that ultimately runs through the four seasons ending in the snow of winter. The whole film is seen through the oval window in the style of a dutch 17th century painting.—Anonymous
