The DVD seeks to explain the basics of leadership theory and the role philial love (a Koine or "common" Greek term meaning care or compassion) plays in leadership. This is based on the servant leadership model first written about by Robert Greenleaf.—Anonymous
Through easy going lecture and several funny skits, Mark and his cast provide a modern description of leadership and it's components. First is an overview of what will be covered in the film, followed by a definition of leadership and a discussion of the history of leadership theory. Mark then outlines the four parts of leadership: philial love, vision, power wielding and management. A bit on goal setting is included as part of the piece on setting a vision for a leader or their organization.
Each of the components of leadership are discussed and illustrated with a short skit. Certain background topics are also discussed such as, philial love, Koine Greek, servant leadership, and power wielding.
