In today's Montreal, the devil, through discreet manners of seduction, takes liberty upon death. A brave trumpet player in love with a damned soul must fight him.

While painfully mourning the death of her fiancé, Béatrice decides to reach a pact with the devil. This pact allows her to communicate with her fiancé in the realm of the dead. Jim, a brave trumpet player in love with Béatrice, discovers the diabolical origin of the pact which stipulates a curse forcing Béatrice into a place from where she may never leave : the circles of hell.
