Thomas Gardesse, a traveling alarm systems salesman, is arrested for a minor offense and sentenced to six months imprisonment. Mistaken for a criminal mastermind, he is sprung by a gang that expects him rob an armored car for them.

Thomas, an alarm systems salesman, is sent to prison for attempted theft. To win respect from the other prisoners, he pretends to be a well-known but elusive master criminal called the Marquis. The rumor of his claim reaches a gang of robbers who help him escape in order to force him to rob an armored car in the Philippines. Thomas must either figure out how to pull off the heist or escape the gangsters. Meanwhile, at least more two people are after him: an international police commander and the real Marquis.
