Le dessous du ciel (Under the sky) is the story of a young French girl called Joëlle, who after she receives her university diploma travels to Switzerland to stay with her mother. She meets her old friend Louis and his friend Franck who work as parachute teachers. Joëlle takes lessons in parachute jumping. The trio forms a group and calls themselves Luftvoltigeure. They are very successful with their show. When the new pilot Mike, an attractive and experienced man joins the group; Joëlle falls in love with him. The jealousy of Louis and Franck almost ends their friendship and endangers their partnership.—Linda Compagnoni Walther
