It's a the true story of Vito Sinisi, an italian aviator dead in 1941 in the Mediterranean Sea after an action against a Allied navy convoy. During the action he was shot by an Hurricane airplane . the italian airplane, a trimotor Savoia Marchetti SM79, splash down and the crew get on a lifeboat. Bit during the night, Vito Sinisi for not to be an impediment to friends and feeling near death, he cast into the sea and disappeared. This act helped the others to save themselves.
