Ah Xun and her sister Yi Cheng suffer from heart disease, making Ah Xun a target for bullying at school. Her only friend, Qing Chuan, gives her a glass bottle with a lavender sprig before moving away. They promise to meet again on Ah Xun's 20th birthday.
Ten years later, Qing Chuan, now a famous singer named Leo, returns to Taiwan. Despite misunderstandings, Ah Xun and Leo reconnect and start a relationship.
