A radio DJ helps two police detectives hunt down a serial killer who kills women using a surgical laser instrument during every full moon and whom makes taunting phone calls the radio station.

Someone is killing women with a laser to the temple during the full moon (hence the title, get it?). An all-night DJ whose marriage and ratings are disintegrating gets the killer to call him. He helps the detectives to try and route him out, but risks the wrath of the killer against himself or his estranged wife.—Ed Sutton <[email protected]>

Zane Wolf is a radio disk jockey for a small radio station whose marriage is on the rocks and is also having an affair with another woman who ignores him. But there's a serial killer loose whom kills women every full moon in their houses with a surgical laser. Cynical veteran police detective Musso is paired with naive rookie Barbara Fleck to find the killer before he strikes again. The detectives paths with Zane cross when a creepy young man, named Andy, phones the radio station after every killing to confess and taunt Zane about the killings. Musso and Fleck decide to set a trap for Andy, while Zane has other plans of his own for the mysterious masked killer.—Matt Patay
