Wide-eyed and innocent as Kansas corn, she came to Hollywood to be a star. She was pretty but didn't have the right moves until her more worldly roommate helped her find work as a lap dancer in a ramshackle "gentleman's" club. After a few weeks of the daily bump and grind, and some wild times with a cynical filmmaker, she was ready for bigger, better things.
