Following the death of his Grandmother, the young architect Marcus returns to the village of his childhood. At first it seems as if nothing has changed but soon he is confronted by a group of environmental activists who are trying to prevent the construction of a new motorway through the area. To them, Marcus represents everything they are fighting against. The villagers are also not pleased to see him again especially the Herring Brothers who know the secrets of his past he has been avoiding for so long. As Marcus finds himself between the two fronts, he starts falling for the activist Piglet and has to decide whose side he is on whilst attempting to resolve the conflicts of his past.—anonymous
