Andrea, a former jockey, reunites with his trainer Tony. He takes on training Laghat, a visually impaired but talented racehorse, in hopes of reviving his career. Their partnership challenges Andrea's skills and personal growth.
Andrea, 21, motherless, is devoted to the business of his father, a well-known antiques dealer who exerts a strong influence over him. A chance meeting with Tony, his former trainer at the San Rossore equestrian school, prompts Andrea to believe he can become again the winning jockey he was before he left racing. Unfortunately, the only horse Tony is willing to give him is Laghat, an exceptional thoroughbred but with a severe eye impairment. A sporting and human challenge begins for Andrea that will mature him not only as a jockey but also as a man.
