Synopsis

Ted Streaver is orphaned at nine. He is raised by two friends of his father, a former boxer and a former nightclub singer. When he graduates from college, Ted (Charles Starrett) becomes an All American football player. His guardians can't attend his away games because they both work, but Ted remains upbeat and happy. He gets a big break - a chance to become a boxer billed as the "College Wonder". His guardians are both against it. In the end, Ted comes to understand that he must remain in college. He asks his guardians to adopt him officially so that they can be his parents.
