Building a house together creates an unbreakable bond between three women and saves their marriages.
Three women are asked by their clergy to "fix-up" a house which has been donated to their church. One woman is married to a very wealthy/successful man who thinks of her as nothing more than an employee and trophy wife - the house shows her she can be so much more. Woman number two's husband has just retired and he is having a very hard time adjusting. Woman number 3 loses her husband to cancer during the removation, but before dying he tells her she will be fine and the house renovation has shown him that she is more capable than even he thought. When done the house will be sold and the funds used to continue the church's child care program. During the process many life changing events occur in each of their lives and they progress in their personal growth as the house continues to be redone. An excellent movie to see how each of us can take on a task that will help others and perhaps help us even more.
